[. . . ] Higher rated scenes Enter the code of the country/area whose standards were used to rate the DVD video disc, based on the list in the reference chapter. Shift the cursor using B button and select the second character using v / V buttons. Press SELECT/ENTER to confirm your 15 Installation and Setup Operation DVD or Video CD Playback Playback Setup 1. Changing CHAPTERs/TRACKs DVD VCD If a title on a disc has more than one chapter or a disc has more than one track, you can select to another chapter/track as follows: · Press SKIP/SCAN . or > during playback to select the next chapter/track or to return to the beginning of the current chapter/track. To go directly to any chapter during DVD playback, press DISPLAY and use v / V to select the chapter/track icon. Then, key in the chapter/track number or use b / B. DVD VCD Use the b B v V buttons to select the title/chapter you want to view, then press SELECT/ENTER to start. Press TITLE or MENU to return to the menu display. VCD · · Use the number buttons to select the track you want to view and press RETURN to return to the menu display. Notes · If parental control is active and the disc is not within the rating settings, you must input the password. Your player does not play discs that have a region code different from your player. Tip: You can also select the search speed by rotating and holding the SHUTTLE ring during playback. The search speed is changed when you rotate and hold SHUTTLE ring at a new position. · 16 Still Picture and Frame-by-Frame Playback DVD VCD Notes: · On a Video CD with PBC, you must set PBC to Off on the Setup menu to use the repeat function (See "PBC" on page 14). If you press SKIP/SCAN (>) once during Repeat Chapter (Track) playback, the repeat playback stops. DVD VCD 1. Rotate and hold SHUTTLE ring forward or reverse to select the required speed: 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 backward or forward. "A - B" appears briefly on the TV screen and the repeat sequence begins.
