Whisper Creek Archery is light-years ahead of others when comparing to "Compound Bow" Technology. Our mission at Whisper Creek Archery is to provide you with the highest quality and most technologically advanced bow in the industry. Through extensive research and development, our technology provides the archer with the quietness, precision, speed, and versatility that are needed to perform the job well. [. . . ] ALWAYS make sure that when servicing a Whisper Creek Bow that the bow is placed EXACTLY per manufacturing's instructions. Extension arms are needed to work on the Whisper II Risers (Innovator, Spectrum, Odyssey, InnovatorPRO, etc. ) these extension arms can be obtained through Whisper Creek Archery. It is imperative that the rollers are moved on the limb located at the pocket to ensure no product damage. P1 Actuator or Strut P2 R1 R2 Hydraulic Piston (Parallel Limb Bow Presses ONLY) sight window is to always be on opposite side to the hydraulic piston. NOTE: NEVER USE A CENTER PULL BOW PRESS (A BOW PRESS THAT ANCHORS AT THE GRIP AREA OF THE BOW). The BowDAMPTM was designed to work in conjunction with the cams and wheels for a serious shock and noise damping system. With our patent pending BowDAMPTM Technology, also known as Constraint or Extensional Layer Damping, each shot is damped by not allowing vibration and noise to travel to adjacent members, thus killing vibrations and noise dead in its track!"BowDAMPTM TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS PROVIDE WEIGHTEFFICIENT, HIGH-LEVEL DAMPING" · BowDAMPTM is a patent pending Constraint or Extensional-LayerDamping (CELD) application where it utilizes a multi-layer "sandwich" system that is formed by laminating the base layer to a damping layer and then adding a third constraining layer (Figure 1). Typically, the constraining layer is of the same material as the base layer, but exceptions are common. · In this sandwiched construction, the damping material layer is forced into a shape that shears adjacent material sections when the system flexes during vibrations. This alternating shear strain in the CELD material dissipates the vibration as low-grade frictional heat (Figure 2). · BowDAMPTM is Structural damping where structural damping (constraint layer) is to structural vibration what absorption is to airborne sound. That is, it provides a means for eliminating mechanical energy by converting it to heat. Damping materials are often applied directly to the surface of a structure using adhesive. B OW DA M PT M & BOWSUSPENSIONT M M ATERIAL TECHNOLO G Y What a technology breakthrough!Talking about endurance, reliability, strength, infinite wear life, enormous damping characteristics, and acoustical properties - all rolled up into one complete bow system. This bow system was designed with only one thing in mind - serious "DAMPING". The BowDAMPTM Material is excellent for low to high impact with repetitive pounding such as the use with compound bows! The BowDAMPTM Material will not swell or deteriorate in water where most plastics and/or elastomers will. BowDAMPTM Material Technology was designed to resist high impact as well as having "outstanding" abrasive resistance. Its abrasive resistance is about 20 times better than that of steel - that's right steel! Its compression characteristics are better than any mechanical coil springs and it is designed to return to its original shape shot after shot! The BowDAMPTM Material is superior to other elastomers on almost all accounts. Other elastomers will generally fail under repeated flexing due to the development and propagation of cracks. It's just possible that you may never again have to replace strings, bushings, bearings, or parts ever!Components made from the innovative BowDAMPTM Material, special formulated acoustical damping material, are stronger, tougher, and more durable than components made from conventional elastomers, steels, aluminums, and/or plastics. Most importantly, the BowDAMPTM Material is very versatile when all other materials will only give you one or a few characteristics but NOT all. The BowDAMPTM Material has "all of the characteristics" such as noise, acoustical, and vibration damping all integrated into one material without having to give up strength, durability, flex, and/or wear resistance. [. . . ] It is designed to actuate in the direction of the string- this is called Actuation Dampening Technology. This answer can be proven or verified simply by dropping down in arrow weight to a lower grains/pound scale and tested without a stabilizer but keeping in mind that you will have to damp the string more due to the fact that the string oscillation will be more (NOTE that the HyperSUSPENSION Technology is not designed at this point to stop 100% string vibration from transferring it's tuned for the bow frequency and not string frequency). This technology is just on the horizon and our suspension engineers are currently working on a new actuation system that consists of a shock absorber suspension system rather than the current spring HyperSUSPENSION System. Unless an external dampening structure is present, the existing axle suspension acts as a spring where it extends and releases the energy it absorbs from each shot thru Actuation Dampening Technology.
