However, intermediate spin phases remain during the rinse. SAVE YOUR FAVOURITE PROGRAMMES If there is a programme setting which you use frequently, the appliance offers the possibility to save one setting for each programme so that it can be used again by just pushing one button. Too much foam by detergent overdosing can also lead to interruption of a wash cycle; in this case the display shows “Fod” - follow the recommendations in the “Troubleshooting Guide” in your Instructions for Use to solve the problem. ADD DETERGENTS, CLOSE THE DOOR AND SELECT THE PROGRAMME Load your laundry, close the door properly and add detergent as indicated on the front page and as described in the chapter “Detergent and Additives” in your Instructions for Use. The display shows the programme duration in hours and minutes as well as the predefined temperature. The temperature can be altered by pressing the “Temperature” button. In case you want to set another spin speed, press the “Spin speed” button . To terminate the “Rinse hold”: • If you want to drain only without spinning: Press the “Start” button to start the drain process. • If you want to spin your laundry: Press the “Spin speed” button to select the desired spin speed and then “Start” to start the spin cycle. “Prewash” button • Adds a prewash cycle to the wash programme selected; prolongs the programme by about a quarter of an hour. • Do not use liquid detergent for the main wash when activating the Prewash option. “Clean +” button • Choose this option if you use an in-wash additive for stain removal (powder, for example “Vanish”) - it will optimize the additive’s efficiency to get better wash performance and stain removal. • Add an appropriate amount of in-wash additive for stain removal (powder) to the main wash chamber, together with your detergent (only use powder detergent with this option). • Appropriate for use of stain removers and bleaches on oxygen basis. “Intensive rinse” button • More water is added and rinse cycle is prolonged. [. . . ] • This option is particularly suitable for areas with very soft water, washing baby linen and helping people with allergies. “15° Green & Clean” button • Enables ecological washing by saving energy used for waterheating, while maintaining a good wash result. • Bright colours live longer with this option; this was tested and approved by the German “wfk” laundry research institute. • Recommendable for lightly soiled laundry without stains. PROGRAMME END • 1. [. . . ]
