Fully extended - to set time 3 2 1 SETTING THE DATE AND THE TIME A. Turn the crown until the date showing is the day before the desired setting. Pull out the crown to the fully extended position (3) and turn to advance time. (Remember that the date advances at 12:00 midnight, not 12:00 noon. ) D. TO SET TIME ALONE Refer to instructions "C". 4 5 POCKET/DESK ALARM The crown of your Pocket/Desk Alarm has 2 three positions: 1. Position 3 - to set time The alarm button of your Pocket/Desk Alarm has two positions: 1. Alarm is now activated and will be confirmed by bip sound. 6 TRAVEL ALARM 3 2 1 1 BACK CLOSED BACK OPENED The face cover doubles as a kickstand (1). SETTING THE TIME By opening the back lid you can set the time with a convenient finger-dial (3) that is protected under the back cover. SETTING THE ALARM You can set the alarm without opening the back lid. 7 5 4 3 2 1 TRAVEL ALARM SETTING THE ALARM (cont. ) Use another convenient finger-dial to set the alarm (4) to the exact time you want to wake up. NOTE: When the battery is low, the alarm may not shut off using the on/off button. Check the battery power level and replace battery if necessary. DUAL TIME TRAVEL ALARM The face cover doubles as a kickstand (1). BACK CLOSED BACK OPENED 4 32 SETTING THE TIME By opening the back lid you can set 4 the time with a convenient finger- 5 dial (3) that is protected under the back cover. SETTING THE ALARM 6 You can set the alarm without open- 1 ing the back lid. [. . . ] It will start to ring again after every 4 1/2 minutes for 6 to 8 times ­ also in crescendo-sound. The alarm must be shut off by the button on the backside of the case. 10 11 BATTERY Your timepiece may be powered by a 1. 55 volt silver oxide watch battery (pocket watches) or by a LR1 1. 5 volt battery (travel alarms). Battery change should be performed by a qualified technician who should also check the condition of the gaskets and the O-ring at the same time. [. . . ]
