Depending on the system configuration, you can control the basic functions of the mobile phone either using the IR remote control provided or - in conjunction with the CI 3000 - via a VDO Dayton navigation system. Press the p and H buttons on the remote control to toggle between the "headset" and "hands-free" Bluetooth profiles. An audible signal confirms that the profile has changed and will remain active until the next change: Hands-free profile activated: 3 high tones Headset profile activated: 3 low tones Important note: We recommend that you use the hands-free profile if it is supported by your mobile phone. This profile was developed specifically for use with hands-free units (e. g. If you are using the headset profile, the range of functions supported will vary depending on the mobile phone.
