Hour will be flashing as in Figure 1. [. . . ] To change between 12 and 24 hour display, press ST/SP while setting clock. Press SET while Second is flashing to end the clock setting. Kitchen Countdown Timer To set the Countdown Timer press SET in Countdown Timer , mode. (Figure 4) C C To move from one mode to the other, press the MODE key. The Weather Station will return to the Clock Display automatically when no key is pressed for 1 minute. LOCAL RF THERMO 1 FIGURE 4 2 3 4 6 7 8 Use the same method as in clock setting to set the hour, minute and second desired. The range of countdown time is from 1 second up to 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds. Countdown will continue even if you change the display to another mode. When Countdown is finished, the display will jump to the Countdown Time, and will flash sounding the alarm . (If SNOOZE is pressed, the alarm will stop and sound again after 5 minutes. Remote Temperature Display By using RF technology and simple Learn function, the Weather Station can receive remote signals from up to 4 Remote Transmitters (WT260) which can be placed indoor / outdoor wherever you desire within the transmission range. To enable the Weather Station to receive signals from each Remote Transmitter, identical House Code and different Channel Numbers must be assigned to each Remote Transmitter in use. Please follow the procedures below to set the Remote Transmitter(s) to work with the Weather Station. The Setting mode will end after no key is pressed for 12 seconds. During the setting process, you may press the RESET button anytime to restart the setting process. Otherwise the Learn procedure of the receiver will need to be repeated. After setting, the current temperature and humidity (WT260H only) will be displayed. The data will then be transmitted to the receiver every minute (Figure 9). 18. 7 C FIGURE 9 Setting the Remote Transmitter(s) There are 2 buttons at the back of transmitter. Make sure all transmitters in your system are set to the same House Code. The House Code will be confirmed if no key is pressed for 12 seconds. Channel Number will start to flash with "1" as in Figure 8. Setting the Weather Station as Receiver The Weather Station needs to execute the Learn function to identify the transmitters present and their transmission sequence. "RF THERMO" symbol will flash and a beep sound will indicate that the Learn function has been activated. The Weather Station will search for signals from Transmitter(s) nearby and use the first House Code received as its own House Code. Whenever a valid data is received, a beep will sound and the temperature and channel number will be displayed on the Right Display Box of the Weather Station as in Figure 10. Local Temperature / Humidity Display Initially, the local temperature of Weather Station will be displayed on the Display Box at the bottom left. To change from °C to °F display or vice versa, press the ST/SP key while the clock is displayed. [. . . ] Remote Transmitter - indicated by the flashing Channel Number on the Weather Station; and "Lo bat" also appears periodically on the display of the Transmitter as in Figure 13. Error/ Abnormal Display When there is an abnormal display or malfunction (e. g. , the Weather Station is unable to learn and display the data from the Transmitter(s)), replace the batteries and re-set both the Weather Station and the Transmitter(s) again. Selecting the Temperature/ Humidity Display Combinations on Weather Station 1. Initially, local data is displayed on the left display box and remote data is displayed on the right. Left box - Press and hold CHANNEL for 3 seconds to scroll through the following display modes: Local CH. 1 CH. 2 CH. 3 CH. 4 Local In the Auto Display Mode, all 4 Channel Numbers under the Right box will be displayed. In this mode, the display will scroll through data from all the valid channels, each of which will be shown for 20 seconds. FIGURE 13 In each case, batteries should be replaced. [. . . ]
