[. . . ] To use the TrimPix Pro system, you must install the Trimble TrimPix Pro Configuration Center software onto the office computer, configure the TrimPix Pro software, and then deploy it to a handheld powered by the Windows Mobile® operating system. New features The TrimPix Pro software version 2. 00 has the following new features: · The TrimPix Pro Configuration Center software, which is installed on the office computer and is used to manage the interaction with the Eye-Fi registration server and the Trimble Activation server, providing a more stable and linear workflow to get you working faster, even from behind a proxy server. The ability to deploy to multiple Trimble handhelds without having to activate the software on each. Instead, the Eye-Fi Pro card is activated against the installation code you receive after registering your Proof-Of-Purchase Number (POPN). · The TrimPix Pro system includes the following: · The TrimPix Pro software (which includes the TrimPix Pro Configuration Center software installed on the office computer) An Eye-Fi Pro SDHC card with built-in Wi-Fi technology · TrimPix Pro System Release Notes 3 Known issues This section describes known issues you may encounter when installing the TrimPix Pro software or configuring your Eye-Fi Pro card. Installing the TrimPix Pro software before turning on Wi-Fi If you install the TrimPix Pro software before turning on Wi-Fi, the installation process will not be able to successfully configure the Wireless LAN adapter. Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on before installing the TrimPix Pro software. Use the Wireless Manager (go to Start / Settings / Connections / Wireless Manager, or tap on the wireless connectivity icon on the status bar at the top of the screen and then select Wireless Manager), and turn on the Wireless LAN. Camera turns off before the image transfer is complete Cameras that do not recognise the Eye-Fi Pro card will not wait until an image transfer is complete before turning off power to the Eye-Fi Pro card. If this happens, consult your camera instructions to increase the time before the camera turns off power to the card. Installing the TrimPix Pro software onto an SD card on the Windows Mobile device The TrimPix Pro system does not support installation of the TrimPix Pro software onto an SD card on the Windows Mobile device. Size of image file occasionally reported to be the wrong size During the transfer of an image from the Eye-Fi Pro card to the Windows Mobile device, the size of the image file (in bytes) is occasionally reported as being larger than it is. Once the image file has been transferred, its size is reported correctly. 4 TrimPix Pro System Release Notes Exception in the Microsoft . Net Framework 2. 0 Occasionally, when the Configure button is pressed, the Microsoft . Net Framework 2. 0 causes an exception and the TrimPix Pro Configuration Center software closes. Start the Configuration Center software again. Trimpix Pro software control applet error dialog If the control applet is open when a photo is being transferred, a Windows® error reporting dialog may appear in the TrimPix Pro software. If this does happen, close the control applet and the TrimPix Pro software will recover. If an error dialog does appear as described above, the Wireless LAN driver may be removed also--the Wireless Manager will not show a Wireless LAN option, and there will be no Wireless option under Start / Settings / Connections.
