Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.
[. . . ] Paving Control System (PCS) support - Your can now create a surface that represents the ideal surface shape to be formed by a paver screed in placing asphaltic concrete on a measured base surface which may have high or low spots, thereby accounting for the differential compaction that occurs as the asphalt of differing applied thickness is rolled. GoogleTM Earth - You can now display survey data superimposed on photographic satellite images of the location in Google Earth. VX images - You can now view registered images produced by a VX Spatial Station. These images have a camera position, orientation, and zoom state defined, and they support superimposed project data. [. . . ] If the first node you select is lower than the second node you select, the slope for the new node will be positive. When using the Table method to select a chainage for an offset, slope, or elevation, you can select the chainage in the Plan View. When entering a code for a new node, you can select from the pre-defined list of codes, or you can enter a new code. "Edit and Delete Corridor Template Instructions" topic When you delete an instruction that creates a node on which one or more subsequent nodes are dependent (for example, a subsequent node is offset from the node you want to delete), the dependent instructions remain in the list. This allows you to edit the dependent instructions or add new nodes to the template that will make the dependent instructions valid. Trimble® Business Center Heavy Construction Edition Release Notes

"Workflow for Creating Corridors" topic Before exporting corridor data, it is recommended that you set the maximum sampling distance for your corridor to less than 5 m. Setting the maximum distance to less than 5 m ensures higher accuracy in your export file To set the maximum sampling distance, select Project > Project Settings
> Computations > Corridor.
If you use Trimble Survey Controller or Trimble Access to create a road with multiple templates, it is recommended that you include the same number of nodes on each side of the center line in each template. This ensures correct template transitioning when the data is imported into Trimble Business Center. Any "extra" nodes you need to create (to ensure the same number of nodes are included in each template) can have 0 (zero) offset distances from the nodes to which you want to transition. If this is not done, you will need to create the extra nodes in Trimble Business Center, again, with 0 (zero) offset distances from the nodes to which you want to transition. Corridors After creating a corridor, you may notice that surface triangles are connecting across cross-sections of the corridor, resulting in an imprecise surface (first figure below). To correct this problem, you can specify that the corridor is an alignment-based surface, which means that it is based on chainages and offsets rather than northing/easting coordinates. This will minimize the chance that the surface triangles connect across cross-sections of the corridor, resulting in a more precise surface (second image below).
To specify that the corridor is an alignment-based surface, view the properties of the corridor in the Properties pane, and select Yes for the Alignment based surface option. Because this option can cause slower performance, you should consider keeping it turned off while creating corridors and templates. Then, if necessary, turn it on prior to reviewing or exporting the corridor. You are allowed to install and use and to allow others to install and use the Trimble Business Center software in its "Core Product" configuration on any number of personal computers or network servers, including those of your employees, subcontractors and independent consultants, but solely for your internal business needs in connection with your use of Trimble products. You are referred to the entirety of the End User License Agreement for additional details, and that agreement shall take precedence over the characterizations made herein. It is available from within the software's user interface by picking Help/About Trimble Business Center from the menu and then clicking View the End-User License Agreement. The intention of this provision is to allow and encourage those who have licensed the software to deploy it freely throughout their organization as needed to effectively support the Trimble products and systems with which it serves as an integral component. You are additionally allowed and encouraged to share the software as needed with third parties with whom you do business, where there is a need for data exchange or other form of software interoperability in connection with your use of Trimble products. Any such third party will be required to accept the terms of the End User License Agreement during the installation of the Trimble Business Center- Heavy Construction Edition software on that party's computer.
System Requirements
The following computer configuration recommendations are based in part on subjective evaluations in regard to what constitutes acceptable and desirable performance. The configuration addressing minimum acceptable performance should be used in assessing the suitability of a system that you already own. [. . . ] These include new data provider groups and Internet sites that you have added to the Internet Download command. These include combinations of project settings that you have defined as templates for baseline processing and network adjustment.
