This document provides information on new features of the AgGPS 21A version 5. 1 firmware, and upgrade instructions. 1 1. 1 New Features AgGPS 21A lightbar firmware version 5. 1 contains the following new features: · · · · · A bug fix to the area calculation for large areas Reduced warning correction age from 30 minutes to 4 minutes Reduced warning HDOP from 5. 0 to 3. 0 The NO DIFF warning now has higher priority than HIGH DOP When the receiver outputs old GGA messages because the number of satellites in view drops below 4, the lightbar displays FEW SATS AgGPS 21A Lightbar Firmware Release Notes 5 Upgrade Instructions This section provides information about upgrading an AgGPS 21A lightbar to version 5. 1 firmware. 2 2. 1 Upgrade Process To upgrade a 21A lightbar to version 5. 1 firmware, the process is: 1. Upgrade the lightbar using WinLightbarHost. For specific instructions on each step of the process, use the following procedures. 2. 2 Step 1: Download the Firmware Upgrade File To download the Ag21A_v51. exe upgrade file from the Trimble website: 1. Start an Internet browser window, and in the address line, type http://www. trimble. com/support. html. Click the EZ-Guide link then click the Downloads link. 6 AgGPS 21A Lightbar Firmware Release Notes 3. Click the v5. 1 - AgGPS 21A Lightbar Firmware link. The following dialog appears: AgGPS 21A Lightbar Firmware Release Notes 7 4. Select the Save this program to disk option, and click OK.
