[. . . ] Playback starts from the point where playback has been stopped. 2 REPEAT Notes · To deactivate the resume function, press x (Stop) again while playback is stopped. "PRESS B TO CONTINUE" disappears on the screen at this time. · The resume function will be deactivated when the disc is ejected. Press REPEAT during playback. In title menu, you can play your favorite scene or song by selecting titles of songs and scenes. The contents of title menus and DVD menus differ depending on the DVD. There may be some DVDs which have no recorded menus. Using the MENU button Some DVDs have a more comprehensive menu that includes things such as the audio languages, subtitle languages, titles, and chapters, etc. 1 2 3 During a DVD playback, press MENU. · You can also change the audio languages by using the DVD menu (page 21) or the LANGUAGE SETUP menu* (page 27). * You can change to a specific audio language using the LANGUAGE SETUP menu, only if the language is included in both the disc and the menu. In some discs, the initial language to be output is specified regardless of the LANGUAGE SETUP menu setting. · This function varies or may not work, depending on the DVDs. During playback, press AUDIO to select the desired output from "STEREO", "MONO LEFT", "MONO RIGHT" or "MIX-MONO" while the output is displayed. Each time you press AUDIO, the output switches. Example: an audio output display MONO RIGHT 23 Changing Setup You can set up and adjust this player using the on-screen Setup Menus. Setup Menus are: ·General Setup (system settings) ·Audio Setup (settings for digital audio output) ·Language Setup (language settings) ·Parental Setup (setting for parental control) SETUP 1 Press SETUP. GENERAL SETUP ANGLE MARK RESET SELECT:<, , ENTER QUIT:SETUP 2 Press b or B button to select the desired item. : General Setup : Audio Setup : Language Setup : Parental Setup 3 4 v/V/b/B ENTER Press ENTER. Press SETUP. 5 6 Refer to "Changing the screen setting" (page 30) for settings of the monitor. 7 8 24 Setting for the DVD player -- GENERAL SETUP GENERAL SETUP ANGLE MARK RESET SELECT:<, , ENTER QUIT:SETUP ANGLE MARK If various angles (multi-angles) for a scene are recorded on the DVD and you have set the "ANGLE MARK" to "ON", a notice appears at the scene. This setting is available while the playback is stopped and the resume function is canceled. OFF A notice will not appear at the scene. RESET You can reset Setup Menus to the factory setting. 1 2 3 4 Press SETUP, then press b or B button repeatedly until "GENERAL SETUP" appears on the screen. Press v or V button repeatedly to select "RESET" and press ENTER.
