The air conditioner does not start operating immediately to protect the compressor of the outdoor unit after it has been started. • If the heat pump is operating in Heat mode, De-ice cycle is actuated to remove frost from an outdoor unit that may have deposited at low temperatures. Remote controller buttons  Before using the functions of the remote controller, you should set the current time. (Refer to p. 18) Remote controller display SPi Power Mode Quiet Turn on/off the air conditioner. Less energy usage makes your space cool between the temperature range of 24°C~30°C. Auto clean function – Dry inside of the indoor unit to get rid of odor. Set one of the 5 operating modes (see pages 14~16 for instructions). Reduce noise generated from an indoor unit during operation. Smart Saver Turbo Air swing Fan Temp + - Activate/Deactivate air flow blade movement automatically up and down. Adjust how much air flows through the air conditioner with the 4 different fan speeds such as Auto/Low/Medium/High. mode. Auto Clean d'light Cool On Timer Set/Cancel Off Timer Cancel the timer/ 2ndF Switch the function of the button on the remote controller. Temp/Humi • Display the room humidity level and temperature value for 5 seconds on the indoor unit display: - Hi : High (If the relative humidity is 70% or higher) - Sd : Standard (If the relative humidity is lower than 70%) - For room temperature will be displayed the value. Beep off To silence the beep sound when pressing the button. Display off Time set To turn off the display light Set the current time • When you press [2ndF] button, the indicator will be displayed on the remote controller and you can change the functions on the remote controller as listed below. Press the Air swing button on the remote controller again, to keep the air flow direction in a constant position.  Horizontal air flow Air flow blades move left and right. Press the Air swing  button on the remote controller. Air swing indicator will be on the remote controller display and air flow blades move left and right continuously to circulate the air. Press the Air swing button on the remote controller again to keep the air flow direction in a constant position. • Adjusting the air flow direction is not available in good sleep mode while it is in cool mode. However, you can adjust the air flow direction in good sleep mode while it is in heat mode.  Using the Turbo function Turbo function will be helpful to cool your room quickly and effectively. Press the Turbo  button on the remote controller during Cool mode. Turbo indicator appears on the remote controller display and the air conditioner operates in Turbo function for 30 minutes. Press the Turbo button once again. Cancel • Turbo function is only available in Cool mode. • If you press the Mode button while the Turbo function is on, it will cancel the function. • Temperature/Fan speed cannot be adjusted while using this function. 16 Junfrau EU_AR09FSSK&Y@_IB_DB68-03363A_EN. indd 16 2012-11-1 9:42:36 mode Before using good' sleep mode, set the current time.
