Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Note that interference from TVs or other devices will sometimes result in the remote control learning the wrong signal. â· Some commands from other remote controls cannot be learned, but in most cases the remotes just need to be moved closer together or farther apart. [. . . ] Under normal conditions, the unit can be used for about five months when Alkaline batteries are loaded. Incorrect use of batteries may result in such hazards as leakage and bursting. â· Do not use or store batteries in direct sunlight or other excessively hot place, such as inside a car or near a heater. â· When disposing of used batteries, please comply with governmental regulations or environmental public instruction's rules that apply in your country or area. The area within the dotted lines indicates function buttons that can be programmed by using the remote control units for other components. This remote control unit can be used to control the operations of other Pioneer components, including amplifiers, CD players, and tuners (including DAB/FM/AM tuners). For example, to operate a CD player, first press CD of Input source buttons, then the button. â· Even when the remote control unit is set to operate another input source component, the Amplifier controls continue to be enabled for amplifier operations. â· Operations not recorded on the remote control unit can be recorded by using the learning function together with the remote control provided with the desired input source component. Buttons that can be recorded using the programming function are those within the dotted lines of the accompanying illustration. Some operations may not be supported, depending on the component involved. Press the corresponding button on the other remote control that is sending (teaching) the signal to this amplifier's remote control. [. . . ] There is a separate collection system for used electronic products in accordance with legislation that requires proper treatment, recovery and recycling. Private households in the member states of the EU, in Switzerland and Norway may return their used electronic products free of charge to designated collection facilities or to a retailer (if you purchase a similar new one). [. . . ]
