[. . . ] Effects can now be applied only to the sound in the selected band and be adjusted in time with the tempo (BPM) of the tune. This provides greater means of expression than the previous effector that operated across the entire band. Level control is possible between +6 dB to ­ and a separation of up to ­24 dB/oct. Since both input and effect output levels can be visually assessed, precise level settings can be made without any time loss. [. . . ] A unit installed in close proximity to such equipment may cause noise or degradation of the picture. In such cases, make use of an outdoor antenna or turn off power to the unit. Do not pull out the plug by tugging the cord and never touch the power cord when your hands are wet as this could cause a short circuit or electric shock. The power cords should be routed such that they are not likely to be stepped on. A damaged power cord can cause a fire or give you an electrical shock. When you find it damaged, ask your nearest PIONEER authorized service center or your dealer for a replacement. For stubborn dirt, moisten a soft cloth with a weak solution of neutral detergent (diluted in five to six parts water), wring the cloth well, and wipe away the dirt.
