Note When selecting 2-channel mode, audio does not be output from front center and rear center speakers. DSP modes This unit features two DSP modes: the network mode and the standard mode. (Refer to Auto TA and EQ (auto-time alignment and auto-equalizing) on page 92 and Using the auto-equalizer on page 91. ) !A 2-way front speaker output can be used for the network mode only. Note Switching the DSP mode erases the current adjusting audio settings (LAST MEMORY). If needed, memorize it into custom settings (CUSTOM1, CUSTOM2 or CUSTOM3). Sound settings (SETTING1, SETTING2 or SETTING3) Created acoustic sound field can be stored in this unit and called up easily. Additionally, this unit stores the sound setting and output channel information for each source group. Changing the source switches sound setting and output channel information for each source group at the same time. Three types of sound settings can be set and stored for both 2-channel mode and multichannel mode independently. Moreover, sound settings can be stored for both the network mode and the standard mode. Therefore, a total of 12 types of sound settings can be set and stored. Auto TA and EQ can be performed only when the standard mode is selected. Performing Auto TA and EQ creates auto settings (AUTO) which are adjusted finely for both 2-channel mode and multi-channel mode. However, AUTO cannot be customized. Output channel modes (2CH/Multi CH) This unit has two output channel modes for each DSP mode: the 2-channel mode and the multi-channel mode. You can switch between output channel modes depending on the source that you have selected. Dolby Pro Logic II/EX and DTS Neo:6 (Dolby/DTS) can be used for multi-channel mode only. Source groups Each source stores both sound settings and output channels information. When a DVD player (built-in or optional) is selected as a source, the each medium stores these settings independently. DVD audio (AOB: audio object) 76 En Section Audio Adjustments 17 !!
