Important If the multi-channel processor (DEQ-P7650/DEQP6600) is connected to this unit, the audio function will be changed to the multi-channel processors audio menu. For details, refer to Introduction of DSP adjustments on page 67. Using balance adjustment You can select a fader/balance setting that provides an ideal listening environment in all occupied seats. 1 Touch FAD/BAL on the audio function menu. # You can also display MENU by clicking the joystick on the remote control. 1 Press A. MENU button to display MENU. MENU appears on the display. # When the rear output setting is SUB. Refer to Setting the rear output and subwoofer controller on page 85. 2 Touch AUDIO to display the audio function names. Each time you touch a or b it moves the front/rear speaker balance towards the front or the rear. You can adjust the center frequency and the Q factor (curve characteristics) of each currently selected curve band (LOW/MID/ HIGH). Using the equalizer The equalizer lets you adjust the equalization to match car interior acoustic characteristics as desired. Recalling equalizer curves There are six stored equalizer curves which you can easily recall at any time. Each time you touch c or d selects equalizer bands in the following order: LOW (low)MID (mid)HIGH (high) 4 Touch b and then touch c or d to adjust the level of the equalizer band. Each time you touch c or d increases or decreases the level of the equalization band. !If you make adjustments, the equalizer curve settings will be memorized in CUSTOM.
