Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Besides being on the cutting edge of new technologies, this car makes a mark in the evolution of the design which characterises the production of FERRARI 8-cylinder cars. If you believe that your vehicle has a defect which could cause a crash or could cause injury or death, you should immediately inform the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in addition to notifying Ferrari S. If NHTSA receives similar complaints, it may open an investigation, and if it finds that a safety defect exists in a group of vehicles, it may order a recall and remedy campaign. However, NHTSA cannot become involved in individual problems between you, your dealer, or Ferrari S. [. . . ] When parking on steep slopes, the wheel should be blocked using a wedge or a rock. Do not park the car on flammable materials (paper, grass, dry leaves etc. They could catch fire if they come into contact with the hot parts of the exhaust system. For safe travel, it is essential that the driver be aware of the best driving techniques for various circumstances. Always strive to prevent dangerous situations from arising by driving prudently. Always check the car for perfect efficiency and ensure that all parts are intact. Drive when you are in perfect physical condition and ensure comfortable conditions. Proper use of the seatbelts can markedly reduce the risk of injury, including serious injury, should an accident occur. Drive carefully at all times and reduce speed on wet road surfaces or in the presence of snow and ice on the road because tire traction will be substantially reduced. Never activate the "SPORT" mode under conditions of low and medium traction. FERRARI has designed and produced a car using technology, materials and devices that are capable of drastically reducing harmful effects on the environment. It is essential that the car be kept perfectly efficient by complying with the programmed maintenance plan. To offer your further support and to prevent damage to the environment, be responsible and adopt proper conduct at all times. Tool kit (A) The tool kit is kept in the luggage compartment and contains all the necessary equipment for emergency repair work, in the event of problems with any parts. Tire repair spray bottle (B) This bottle must always be stored in its special case (C) and in the luggage compartment. In case of tire puncturing, this spray bottle can be used to repair and to inflate the tires permitting you to continue travelling under conditions that are sufficiently safe. After the spray has been used for repair work, the car must be considered in an `emergency condition' (maximum speed allowed: 50 mph - 80 Km/h). The tyre repair spray cannot be of any use in the event of large holes or lacerations of the tyre. The spray bottle must be protected from sunrays and should not be exposed to temperatures over 122 °F (50 °C). The content is highly flammable, it must be therefore kept away from any combustion source. When using the spray, follow the instructions written on the can extremely carefully. In addition to the tools supplied with the car, always ensure that you have a hazard warning triangle fitting all the legal requirements in the car. [. . . ] Depending upon the damage, complete component units or individual parts can be replaced. Any straightening attempts made on the original piece that is damaged, which can be attempted on normal steel bodywork, are not permitted in the case of aluminum bodywork. This is because aluminum materials offer little possibility of being restored to their original shape. Normally only welding is used for joining parts in the space frame sector. [. . . ]
