This safety feature can be activated, for example, when the hob is installed over an oven that is not sufficiently insulated. Note: - In locked mode, any action will produce a key symbol on the display. - If you activate the lock while cooking, the stop display will be prioritised on the lock. Temperature limiter Each cooking zone is equipped with a safety sensor that constantly monitors the temperature of the bottom of the cookware. If you leave empty cookware on a zone which is turned on, it will automatically limit the power in order to prevent damage to the cookware or hob. Protection against overflows In case of overflow, or of a metallic object or wet cloth placed on the control areas, the hob turns itself off, the displays light up and a beep sounds.
