[. . . ] In order to ensure a normal operation of your refrigerating appliance, which uses a completely environmentally friendly refrigerant the R 600a (flammable only under certain conditions) you must observe the folloving rules: Do not hinder the free circulation of the air around the appliance. Do not use mechanic devices in order to accelerate the defrosting, others than the ones recommended by the manufacturer. Do not use electric appliances inside the food beeping compartment, others than those that might have been reccommended by the manufacturer. [. . . ] ⷠIf the appliance is located between two pieces of furniture, please make sure that they are not placed on the supply cord or press it. Disconnection from the mains The disconnection must be posible by taking out the plug from the socket or by a double-pole switch located before the socket. Before the first operation, clean the inside of the appliance (read the chapter , , Appliance maintenance and cleaning"). After finishing this operation, plug in the appliance, open the door of the refrigerator (the inside lamp will go on) and adjust the set temperature value on an average position set value 4 or 5. When the cabinet is first time on or after one power interruption the self test is initiated, what is mean that all the components are sequentely started one-by-one. After the self test the components (compressor, heaters, fans) are started according with the setings with posiblle delays. After finishing the tests, the component parts of the appliance will be activated according to the set temperature value, and there is the possibility that some of them have certain delays. Let the appliance operate for about 4 hours without putting food inside. Operation of the control panel (Item 5) The operation and control panel adjusts the temperature in the freezer, displays the temperature in the refrigerator and has the following functions: 1 ­ Fast freeze button 2 ­ Freezer temperature display 3 ­ Orange led ­ Fast freeze on 4 ­ Green led ­ Voltage on (TENSION) 5 ­ Red led ­ Alarm 6 ­ Refrigerator temperature display 7 ­ Temperature setting button Accoustic signalling When the door of the refrigerator remains open more than 1 minute, an intermittent audio alarm is activated. The fan of the refrigerator stops 1 second after the opening of the door and starts 1 secound after its closing. In some cases it is possible that the fan in the freezer compartment starts with a delay compared to the motorcompressor. Lamp The lamp goes on 1 second after the opening of the door and remains on until it is closed. Adjustment of the temperatures in the refrigerator and in the freezer The temperatures are adjusted by rotating the temperature adjustment knob (7) from MIN towards MAX. on the temperature display the set value of the fridge temperature (6) will blink for 5 sec. on the freezer display will be shown the corespondent temperature value for the set value. The ice-cubes can be easier detached if you pass the tray for a few seconds under a cold water jet. Food freezing Freezing capacity The freezing capacity is the maximum weight of food which can be be frozen in 24 hours. The food must be frozen completely and as quick as possible because only doing so the vitamin content, their nutritive value, aspect and taste can be kept. For this reason it is advisable not to exceed the maximum freezing capacity of your appliance. The food already frozen will be kept far from the direct contact with the food that will be frozen. Before introducing them into the appliance for freezing, the hot food will be cooled at the room temperature. In order to get best keeping and hygiene, we suggest you the following: · In the refrigerator are kept for a short time fresh food and drinks. [. . . ] Until the remedy of the error by the Service, you can continue the use the appliance, without the risk of alteration of the food. The high temperature alarm for freezer Is activated after 24 hours from an initial power-up and if the air temperature for freezer is bigher than -70C. The high temperature alarm will be off if the freezer air temperature will drop below -90C. This can be caused by the introduction of food into the freezer compartment or because the door was left open for a long time. [. . . ]
