[. . . ] In order to prevent any possibility of damage or acident, do not put on the appliance (top) any instable objects containing liiquids or fire sources (flower vases, flower pots, candles, lamps, etc. - Don't let the children play with the packing or with some parts of it. There is the risk of suffocation with pieces of the folded cardboard and plastic sheet. - In order to be received in good conditions, the appliance was protected with an adequate packing. These instructions contain important information regarding to the installation, using and maintenance of the appliance. The manufacturer will not be responsible if these instructions are not accordingly complied with the manual. Keep this manual into a safe place in order to easy consult it if necessary. It is not recommended to stop the appliance if you will not use it for a few days. If you don't use it for a longer period, please proceed as follows: - unplug the appliance; - empty the refrigerator and the freezer; - defrost and clean the appliance; - let the doors open in order to avoid the unpleasant odors. Any "suspended" furniture will be assembled at a minimum distance of 10 cm above the appliance. The same distance will be also provided in case of a niche or another construction element. Your appliance is designed to work at a mono-phase voltage of 220-240V, 50Hz. Before connecting the appliance to the mains, be sure that the mains parameters of your house (voltage, current type, and frequency) are according to the working parameters of the appliance. Keep clean the collector and draining hose for the water flow resulted after defrosting. Check the hose to be permanently with the end inside the drip tray on the compressor in order to prevent the water flow above the electric wiring or on the floor. We recommend that you switch off the appliance at the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug before cleaning. Never use any sharp instruments or abrasive substances, soap, househould cleaner, detergent or wax polish for cleaning. Use luke warm water to clean the cabinet of the appliance and wipe it dry. Use a damp cloth wrung out in a solution of one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to one pint of water to clean the intreior and wipe it dry.
