[. . . ] The data transfer rate of the Serial ATA 3Gb/s is faster than the standard parallel ATA with 133MB/s (Ultra DMA133). Install the Windows® XP Service Pack 1 before using Serial ATA. 1-9 Chapter 1: Product introduction 2. The onboard IDE connector is for an Ultra DMA 133/100/66 signal cable. There are three connectors on each Ultra DMA 133 / 100 / 66 signal cable: blue, black, and gray. Connect the blue connector to the motherboard's IDE connector, then select one of the following modes to configure your devices. This connector allows you to receive stereo audio input from sound sources such as a CD-ROM, TV tuner, or MPEG card. Optical drive audio in connector (4-pin CD) ASUS EEE PC 904 HD LINUX 1-10 4. These connectors are for USB 2. 0 ports. Connect the USB module cable to any of these connectors, then install the module to a slot opening at the back of the system chassis. Connect the CPU fan cable to the CPU fan connector on the motherboard, ensuring that the black wire of each cable matches the ground pin of the connector. DO NOT forget to connect the CPU fan cable to the CPU fan connector. Insufficient air flow inside the system may damage the motherboard components. Connect the S/PDIF Out module cable to this connector, then install the module to a slot opening at the back of the system chassis.
