See page 17 for details. 18 Destination Setting a Destination by POI (Places of Interest) The Places of Interest are sorted by POI Name and by POI Category and are listed in order of distance from your current location. 1 Destination Places Go to Main Menu Finding a Destination by POI Name 2 3 Select By POI Name. A list of place names appears. Type the desired POI name. Touch OK. Note: Use the arrows to the right of the list to move the yellow highlight. This will show detailed address information and phone number (if available) for each entry in the POI database. 4 For emergency locations such as Police Stations, Hospitals, etc. , please verify availability before proceeding to such locations. Select an entry. 5 Confirmation screen appears. Touch OK to Proceed to set the destination and start guidance. Setting a Destination from the Address Book 1 Destination Address Book 2 3 Go to Main Menu Select the desired destination. To save an address in the address book, see page 26. 19 Finding a Destination by POI Category 2 3 4 Select By POI Category. Select Search Method. Near Here 5 6 A list of POI names appears in order of distance from the current vehicle position. Touch OK to Proceed to set the destination and start guidance. 2 3 Setting a Destination by Postcode 1 2 3 Go to Main Menu. Destination Postcode Input Postcode Type in a postcode and touch OK. A list of postcodes appears. Touch OK to Proceed on the confirmation screen. Note: Due to the seven-digit postcodes, steps 3 and 4 are not necessary for destinations in Great Britain. 21 Setting a Destination by Intersection 1 Go to Main Menu. Destination Intersection Finding a Destination by City Name 2 Select Input City Name. Note: Pressing Recent, you can directly select from a list showing the cities set as previous destinations (Proceed with step 4). 3 4 5 6 Type the city name, then select the city from the list. Touch OK to Proceed on the confirmation screen. 22 Destination Setting a Destination in the City Centre 1 Go to Main Menu. Type the first characters of the city name and press OK. If there are unique matches, the system will automatically display a short list of city names. Select an entry. 2 3 4 Touch OK to Proceed on the confirmation screen. 23 Setting a Destination by Coordinates 1 Go to Main Menu. Touch OK to Proceed to set the destination and start guidance. 2 3 4 24 oPtions Find Local POI The navigation system can display Places of Interest (POI) around the cursor position, when you scroll the map. How to Find Local POI Directly from the Map 1 2 3 4 5 The crosshair cursor appears. Touch anywhere on map screen. Touch OK to Proceed on the confirmation screen. How to Find Local POI from the Destination Menu You can also find local POI from the Destination Menu. 1 2 3 Set a destination first from Destination. Follow steps 3 to 5 above in "How to Find Local POI Directly from the Map". 25 Saving a Destination to the Address Book Any destination can be saved to the Address Book. 1 2 3 4 Select a destination using any method. After saving the entry, system returns to the Main Menu screen. 5 26 Setting Waypoints You can set up to 10 waypoints between your current location and your destination. The final destination must be set before entering any waypoints. How to Set a Waypoint Directly from Map 1 2 3 4 5 The crosshair cursor appears. Touch anywhere on map screen. Touch Edit if you want to modify the waypoints. Note: Use the arrows to the right of the list to select an entry (yellow highlight). 6 7 Touch Remove to delete the selection. Touch Calculate to start guidance. How to Set a Waypoint from the Destination Menu You can also set a waypoint from Destination Menu. [. . . ] · Ambient temperature Lower the temperature in the vehicle to below 45°C over 45°C (113°F) (113°F) by driving with the windows open or air conditioner on. · Blown fuse Replace with a fuse of the prescribed rating (2A glass-type fuse located in the head of the cigarette lighter adapter).
