Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. · If you are discarding the appliance pull the plug out of the socket, cut the connection cable (as close to the appliance as you can) and remove the door to prevent playing children to suffer electric shock or to close themselves into it. However, the exact setting should be chosen keeping in mind that the temperature inside the appliance depends on: · room temperature · how often the door is opened · the quantity of food stored · the location of the appliance. Fast freezing function You can activate the Fast freezing function by pressing the Fast freezing switch. It is possible to deactivate the function at any time by pressing Fast freezing switch. Excessive temperature alarm An increase in the temperature in a compartment (for example due to an power failure) is indicated by flashing of the Alarm light. When normal conditions are restored the Alarm light will switch off automatically. Switching on Insert the plug into the wall socket. Remove any stored food, wrap it in several layers of newspaper and put it in a cool place. Leave the door open and insert the plastic scraper in the appropriate seating at the bottom centre, placing a basin underneath to collect the defrost water In order to speed up the defrosting process, place a pot of warm water in the freezer compartment. In addition, remove pieces of ice that break away before defrosting is complete. 6. Solution Refer to "Excessive Temperature Alarm" Set a higher temperature.
